I am the Department Fiscal Specialist. I am responsible for performing and overseeing fiscal, grant, and accounting-related matters. I also work with students to find financial opportunities to pay for tuition and experiences related to their SPICES while in the Honors College. Outside the Honors College, I currently accepted a position to be the Advisor for the International Student Association. ISA’s mission is to offer international students at UTSA access to robust social support, scholarships, and career opportunities.
I am a sophomore majoring in biology. I hope to become a doctor. I am excited to join ISA's journey in bringing resources and connections to international students on campus.
I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology. My interests encompass reading, playing the piano and guitar, and spending quality time with my dogs. Serving as ISA's vice president has equipped me with valuable experience in leadership and involvement, skills I plan to leverage in my future endeavors.
I am Temiyemi Adewumi, originally from Nigeria and now a resident of the United States for the past decade. I am currently in my senior year, majoring in Biology. My interests span literature, the written word, and the art of crochet. Additionally, I derive great satisfaction from immersing myself in international drama productions. My dedication to the International Students Association (ISA) committee is driven by a commitment to enrich the experiences of our community and foster meaningful connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Hailing from Nigeria, I identify as an ambivert with a passion for dance. My major is Applied Demography (PhD). I am drawn to ISA because of the valuable opportunities it provides for me to connect with individuals from diverse walks of life.
I am a senior majoring in chemical engineering. I come from Vietnam and have lived in the U.S. for 4 years. In my free time, I enjoy walking, listening to music, and watching sports.
I'm a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I earned my BSc and MSc in Computer Science, both with honors, from Kwara State University. My research interests span Machine Learning Applications, security, and AI education.
